Actor Dhanush, who was last seen in his self directorial film Raayan, is all set for his next career move. The actor has moved on from his long reign over the big screen, opting for production and directorial gigs. And while it might be difficult to get hold of the timeless crowd favourite, the Why This Kolaveri Di? singer is bound to make waves with what he has in store for his fans.

DD3 and DD4 in the works? What is Dhanush’s plan?
Showbiz is something that makes up Dhanush as a person. Whether it be his lyrical prowess or a new direction, the crowd goes absolutely wild! Dhanush’s movie Raayan which came out earlier this year made around ₹160 crore at the box office and was also his 50th film. But our golden boy is planning something big yet again!
Adding another feather to his long list of accomplishments, DD3 or Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is up for a December release and we cannot hold our horses. The title which directly translates as “Why is the moon angry with me?” is said to be inspired by a song of the same name and without much wonder, a romantic comedy is anticipated.
Featuring a youthful cast brimming with romantic energy, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is said to be along the lines of Malayalam hit Premalu, but we can leave it to Dhanush to switch up the narrative. Priya Prakash Varrier who went viral for her wink in Oru Adaar Love is officially on the list and is reported to be acting in one of the leading roles, creating more buzz around the film which is to be produced under Wunderbar Films and RK Productions (P) Ltd.

Earlier this year, in a YouTube interview with Galatta ,composer GV Prakash revealed four songs to be added to the film’s official album, all penned by the wonder boy Dhanush himself. With an appeal aimed at the younger generation, two songs have now been unveiled and are available across all major platforms.
Dhanush is also gearing up for his fourth directorial or DD4 titled Idly Kadai, a rural entertainer with himself and actress Nithya Menen, among others, playing as leads. Also produced under his banner Wunderbar Films, the movie is gearing up for a 2025 release. With projects lined up one after the other, are you ready to match up to his level?
