In his recent directors’ roundtable with The Hollywood Reporter India, Imtiaz Ali mentioned his future plans and confirmed the project with Fafa. He said, “This announcement is out. But, it’s a little ahead of its time. There is a movie, but, I don’t know it might not be the next one up. But, yes, I have been trying to make this film for a long time. It’s called The Idiot of Istanbul. I would love to do this and my plan is to make this film with Fahadh.”
Though it is quite unlikely that the movie would find a release date up on the 2025 calendar, fans are ecstatic about the collaboration and what could possibly come out of it. Another actress added to the list is Tripti Dimri who will be seen acting possibly opposite Fafa in his Bollywood debut.
Fahadh was last seen as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS in Pushpa 2: The Rule. With all eyes on him, we eagerly await the release of his next blockbuster!
